In a press conference held today, BurgerShaq owner Shaqelangelo McKasty finally spoke out about the company's recent legal battle with fast food giant Burger King. "I am glad we have finally resolved the matter with the owners of Burger King, as I did not want to get involved in an extended period of litigation."

Burger King grabbed the attention of BurgerShaq's crack legal squad last month when they introduced their "Shaq Pack" promotion using NBA player Shaquille O'Neal and soul singer Isaac Hayes to sell a bacon cheeseburger on sour dough bread and french fries with chili cheese dipping sauce. Burger King used the phrase "Attack a Shaq Pack" to advertise the Shaq Pack. BurgerShaq has had a sandwich called the "Shaq Attack" on its menu since the restaraunt opened in 1976. Head Burger Shaq chef Kyle Doris describes the sandwich as "the size of a small pizza" when asked how big the 34 oz. burger was.

College student Michael Yaworski was quoted as saying "I ordered a Shaq Pack in Pennsylvania and I didn't get the chili cheese dipping sauce. I guess I never had a real Shaq Pack, and now I never will."

Shaqelangelo McKasty personally went to his local Burger King today to make sure that Burger King was holding up to their end of the settlement. "I went up to the counter and asked for a 'Shaq Attack' -- the midget behind the counter told me they had to stop selling them. I asked her why and she said she couldn't tell me for legal reasons. Our battle was a success! I plan on going in at least once a week and asking for a 'Shaq Attack' to make sure they don't go back to selling them. I have never been corrected by a Burger King employee after asking for a 'Shaq Attack' -- it's very clear that they were trying to use the popularity of our Shaq Attack to sell their Shaq Pack."

Later at the press conference Shaqelangelo unveiled several new menu items at BurgerShaq, including the Eric Snowcone, the Steve Nash Brown, and the Jason Kidd's Meal, which will come with a toy. "Our first toy promotion will feature such items as Lucious Harris face masks and the Bill Walton home tye-dying kit. Our next promotion will be a series of toys based on the new film, 'Like Mike,' which stars Lil' Bow Wow."
